The initial consultation will last at least an hour, during which the homeopath will focus on understanding your specific symptoms. In addition to discussing your physical, mental, and emotional complaints, the practitioner will inquire about factors that make your symptoms better or worse, your food cravings or aversions, your sleep patterns, and even the content and patterns of your dreams. They will also delve into your major fears. To gain deeper insights, the homeopath will likely ask you to describe your sensations in detail, as this information is very helpful for them. For instance, one client described the pain in his abdomen as feeling 'like a live animal growling.' While these detailed questions might seem unusual if you've only experienced conventional medical care, they are crucial during the initial consultation and will help inform any necessary follow-up consultations or even genetic testing down the line.

The follow-up consultations will last between half an hour to an hour. During this time, the homeopath will review your initial consultation case file to evaluate any improvements, deteriorations, or changes in your symptoms, as well as physical, mental, or emotional complaints previously discussed. Additionally, if applicable, genetic testing results may also be considered to further inform your treatment. A new case form will be utilized to track and record these changes, enabling adjustments to the homeopathic treatment strategy as needed.

The initial consultation for genetic testing will last half an hour. During this time, the homeopath will explain and discuss each of the genetic tests available, as well as recommend specific tests tailored to your concerns or complaints. Following this discussion, a cheek swab will be conducted to collect cells that contain your DNA. The swab will be rubbed briskly against both cheeks in an upward, downward, and circular motion to gather as many cells as possible. After the consultation, the swab is sealed and sent to the DNA testing laboratory for analysis, with results available in 4 to 5 weeks. A follow-up consultation, which is complimentary, will then be scheduled to review the results in detail and to discuss a personalized treatment and lifestyle plan.
